A stunning pool and spa that embraces complexity to create a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living.
COS Design met the challenge of designing water to lap against a dining room window, navigating strict compliance, a tricky neighbour, and a protected Chinese elm.
The solution: a raised spa with a full wet deck finish aligned perfectly with the window sill to double as a water feature.
Custom drainage adapts the water level for both beauty and functionality. The raised pool, featuring a wet-edge spillover, eliminates unnecessary fencing and complements the home’s architectural lines.
Judges praised the harmonious design, noting its integration of interior and exterior spaces and thoughtful response to site challenges.
