"Since joining the team at Nature’s Best , Simon has become known for his hardworking, yet easy going attitude. He has a true authentic passion for the landscape industry, which is evident when he invests his time to learn about the design side of the business. This keen interest has impressed his employer as has his high-quality workmanship, often only expected from those more senior.
Simon continues to impress his teacher with his eagerness to improve and extend his landscaping skills by asking for theoretical workbooks to extend his knowledge. He demonstrates a clear ability to think independently and take charge of site setout processes and can work from a landscape plan and interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
In yet another hotly contested year which saw the judges battle to separate the nine nominees, Simon was chosen as a true rising talent in this industry to take out the Apprentice of the Year in Construction."
