Judge’s Comments:
"Franklin Landscape & Design was given brief of providing an entertaining area and plunge pool to blend with this rustic styled and Ivy clad former bakery. Thoughtful planning was needed to complete the extensive make-over without damaging the long established Boston Ivy that completely covers the old building. Existing garden works were incorporated into the design and improved with seamless transition. "Rustic charm with easy elegance and a dash of formal flair” describes the blending of a modern plunge pool, classic stone paving, soft billowy plantings, water features and screen plantings. Technically the works are tight, sharp and at the forefront of construction technology, but these things are far from mind when contemplating the finer things in life from this relaxed setting created by David and his team."
