Recipient: Hamish Mitchell

"An active advocate of all things ‘green’, Hamish Mitchell has been entrenched in the Victorian landscaping industry since arriving in Melbourne in 1997. He has served on a number of strategic and technical committees for the NGIV, and was appointed a director of the NGIA in 2013. Hamish was a member of the Drafting Committee for the AS2303 Purchasing of Trees for landscape use and on top of being a current Board member of the NGIA, he is also a member of the Industry Advisory Committee for Horticulture Innovation Australia.  Hamish served as an LV Board member for 2 years and was elected President in 2011-2012."
